Meet the Artist
Michelle Cabrera
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Michelle Cabrera is the creative force behind Oasis Art Studio & Gallery. As the owner and featured artist, she brings a powerful blend of classical training and contemporary vision to every class she designs and art piece she creates.
Michelle holds a BA in Painting from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico and a MA in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Her deep respect for traditional techniques is complemented by a passion for drawing and a constant drive to explore new forms of artistic expression.
Intellectually curious and creatively versatile, Michelle’s work spans classical fine art, comics, manga, and digital media. Whether working in oil, charcoal, or pixels, she infuses each creation with a strong sense of storytelling, technical excellence, and personal exploration.
At Oasis Art Studio & Gallery, Michelle leads with heart and vision—welcoming fellow artists, students, and art lovers into a space that celebrates both tradition and innovation.
